Summary
Samples in trunk are still FpML-4-4

The trunk still holds the development of the 4.x versions.
The 5.0 version is being developed in the FpML-5-0 branch. The examples are still using the 4.4 version to facilitate synchronization with trunk. Examples should probably be updated to 5.0 but this only affects the source files, not the files that are being published.
The examples for 5-0 are created from the 4-x files by a script. This approach allows the trunk to be used as the source for both 4-x and 5-0 developement simultaneously and prevents the two threads getting out of synchronisation.
When development of 4-x stops the trunk files will be updated to 5-0, but not before.

AWG agreed on 02-10-2008 to close this issue.
Some stable FpML 4.x examples will be converted to 5-0 format and placed in the repository.
